The use of pseudoscience in the search for knowledge can be very dangerous.

What is pseudoscience?

Pseudoscience is formed from two words - pseudo which means 'false', and science which means 'knowledge'. Thus, pseudoscience is just a way of using unconfirmed information in a confirmed way.

For example, concluding that exercising increases life span simply because a fitness instructor lives a long life without any proper research is a form of pseudoscience.

Scientific information are obtained from research that are based on the scientific method. Any other information obtained without following the scientific method are considered unscientific, or pseudoscience at best.

Pseudoscientific information could expose people to danger and cause major damage to society at large.

How does cloning work and work are the basics
Musya8 [376]

Answer:

How cloning works: In reproductive cloning, researchers remove a mature somatic cell, such as a skin cell, from an animal that they wish to copy. They then transfer the DNA of the donor animal's somatic cell into an egg cell, or oocyte, that has had its own DNA-containing nucleus removed. ... This young animal is referred to as a clone.

Basics of cloning:

Isolation of target DNA fragments (often referred to as inserts)

Ligation of inserts into an appropriate cloning vector, creating recombinant molecules (e.g., plasmids)

Transformation of recombinant plasmids into bacteria or other suitable host for propagation.

Screening/selection of hosts containing the intended recombinant plasmid .
