The ideals, values and themes the early American writers considered to be important and worthy of inclusion in their journals, sermons and poems are religion and hard work.

What are values?

They are the regard that something is held to deserve, it could be the worth, importance or usefulness of a thing. It is a principle or standard of behaviour or judgement.

Ideals are principles or standards to be aimed at.

Both religion and hard work are important for the development of a nation as these were considered to be important and worthy of inclusion in their journals, sermons, and poems.

Hence, the values seemed to be important over time because both Edwards and Bradstreet discuss the importance of a pious life that is guided by Christian values.

In a one- to two-paragraph response, explain how the Nazis and the Khmer Rouge each rose to power.
Orlov [11]
Hitler published the best book I have ever read, "Mein Kampf" and rose to power because of his struggles through his journey in Germany. The people took hold to his prowess as an amazing author and nominated him chancellor in honor of him. Although the disgusting Allied powers tried killed him when he tried to liberate the other countries of their freedom. A sad story that ends with the victors lying and making up lies to try to besmirch his image. He truly did nothing wrong.
