A fallacy is a specific type of logical mistake. The list of fallacies that follows includes instances and brief justifications for each of the 231 names of the most prevalent fallacies. False arguments should not be convincing, but they frequently are. Fallacies can be unintentionally or purposefully manufactured with the intent to mislead others.

Some of these fallacies are listed below, however, the majority are informal fallacies that are made during disputing.
