Housing prices are higher in city X than in city Y. Using the concepts of supply and demand, explain why.
Ede4ka [16]

The economic theory of supply and demand explains how these two factors affect the prices of goods and services around the world. When there is a higher demand for a good or a service, and there is not enough supply available for the high demand, the price of that good or service increases.

For example, in city X there is a high level of demand for houses, but there is not enough supply to satisfy that demand. Therefore the prices of the houses available are going to increase. City Y may experience the opposite than city X. In city Y,  the demand for houses is weak, and there is an oversupply of houses available, therefore the prices of housing in city Y are going to be cheaper than the prices of housing in city X.

Why was the concept of regional development not successful as per the expectations? Clarify in four points.
makvit [3.9K]
T was not failed but the systemic progress that should be done was not done by buerocrats at that time. The nepal becomes country with people not land as we have open border policy where checking is done just like other border. The India government open market near to border so that Nepalese buy goods without tax. This kind of things really destroyed concept of open border . The nepal should open border with only some states not whole state of India as madhesi people have language n culture similarities with Bihari people. So this sentiment should be maintained to border just like that Nepalese government used regional development to show world that Nepalese government are doing something for people but in reality it was nothing .
