Questions 36-40 are based on the following passage:

English
1 answer:
galben [10]1 year ago
4 0

Answer:

36. A

37. B

38. C

39. The answer choices dont line up with the question ( can't answer )

40. D

Explanation:

36. The passage is most likely talking about how war should be abolished and that it must be abolished before it can cause any further damage to our existence (most likely A)

37. The passage states "at least 6,000 years" so that would mean 6,000 years or more. (B. More than six thousand years)

38. The passage says that bacteriological or chemical weapons can offer an "even greater threat" meaning that they can be more harmful than nuclear weapons. (C. can be more harmful than nuclear weapons)

39. The answer choices for this one are exactly the same as #38 so I believe that may be an accident and its unable to be answered

40. The very end of the passage states that we need to change our age old mental habits and says "this is what must be attempted." (D. change our age old mental habits and to arbitrate in a a accordance with agreed principles)

What's odd about this is that if you put the answers together ( with the exception of 39) you get ABCD but I still believe that these are the correct answers

plz help In 300 words or less, identify a motif and explain how it relates to the play’s major themes.
Gelneren [198K]
DescriptionIn narrative, a motif is any recurring element that has symbolic significance in a story. Through its repetition, a motif can help produce other narrative aspects such as theme or mood. A motif is an element or idea that recurs throughout a work of literature. Motifs, which are often collections of related symbols, help develop the central themes of a book or play. For example, one of the central themes in Romeo and Juliet is that love is a paradox containing many contradictions.
