The total weight of the berries after 2 days is 100kg

We have been given that,

Initial total weight of the berries in the box = 200kg

In which the moisture content = 99%

Hence the weight of berry fruit present = 200 – (200*0.99)

                                                                               = 200 – 198

                                                                               = 2kg

Now after 2 days the moisture content = 98%

The percentage of the berry fruit present after 2 days = 2%

Note that the amount of the berry fruit present does not change only the amount of water changes.

Hence we have been asked that 2% of what total weight of the berries will make 2kg. That is,

2% of n = 2kg

0.02 * n = 2       (As ‘of’ is multiplication)

n = 2/0.02

n = 100

Thus the total weight of the berries after 2 days is 100kg

Enter the value for x that makes the given equation true. 36x=6
vodka [1.7K]

Answer:

1/6

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the value of x that makes the equation true we isolate x on one side of the equation. Technically this is  solving for x. The Division Property of Equality states that if we divide both sides of an equation by the same amount then we will have an equivalent equation. We can divide both sides of this equation by 36 to get x = 1/6

What single decimal multiplier would you use to decrease by 14% followed by a 9% decrease?
xenn [34]

Answer:

the single decimal multiplier is 0.7826

Step-by-step explanation:

The computation of the single decimal multiplier is given below:

Given that

It is reduced by 14% that followed by 9% decrease

So according to this, the following calculation is required

= (1 - 0.14) × (1 - 0.09)

= 0.86 × 0.91

= 0.7826

Hence, the single decimal multiplier is 0.7826

How would you decide whether or 5 or 595 is greater?
andre [41]
Answer: 595 is greater.

So let’s analyze both numbers-

595 is a 3 digit number meaning it goes up to
the “hundred” place.

5 is a 1 digit number meaning it only goes up to the “ones” place.

From there you should be able to tell the greater number.
