A nurse can assess the efficacy of nursing interventions for a client with dissociative identity disorder in one of two ways. These are what they are:

A nursing intervention evaluation criterion for a client with dissociative disorders because the client has memory loss is the client's capacity to link stressful events to memory loss. Second, a dissociative disorder patient will have various personalities. The client's capacity to address distinct personas within the self is one of the nursing interventions' evaluations for this client.

Dissociative identity disorder, formerly known as multiple personality disorder, typically results from trauma and is a person's attempt to block out unpleasant memories.

The parameters that will help the nurse evaluate the effectiveness of the nursing interventions in a client with dissociative identity disorder include:

1) Ability of the client to connect the occurrence of psychological stress to loss of memory

2) Ability of the client to discuss various personalities within the self.

A dissociative identity disorder is a mental disorder in which a person has two or more separate and different personalities. A person switches personalities due to certain factors like distress, and with the change in personality, a behavioral change is observed.

They cause memory gaps after each change in personality. There is a ‘core’ of usual personality and an ‘alter’ identity in people with dissociative identity disorder.
