The most important policy issue that is facing the United States is immigration. This is because immigration is divisive in nature.

The problems associated with immigration are that US needs more immigration to compensate for the procreation rate of the present child-bearing population, that is very low. The US does not need a caravan of potentially illegal immigrants who crowd the hospital as well as school areas. It's better they ae assisted in their own country.

The US also does not need specific criminal cartel members as well as drugs  from this cross border migration. The entry to terrorists as refugees is also a big problem that needs to be addressed.
