We can actually infer here that as a hydrologist who happen to be in charge of the inspection of the Laguna de Bay and Manila Bay, the water distribution on these areas in terms of freshwater and salt-water can be quantified according to their degree of salinity. Laguna de Bay is a fresh water lake whose degree of salinity is lower than that of the Manila Bay.

What is Laguna de Bay?

The Laguna de Bay is actually known as the third largest inland body of water. It is located in Southeast Asia. It is found in the heart of Luzon Island.

The Manila Bay is known as the natural harbor which is known to serve the Port of Manila (on Luzon). It is located in the Philippines; the capital city of the Philippines.

If Michigan had 24 deaths from extreme cold in the last 20 years, what is the risk they will have a death this year? (very unlik
3241004551 [841]

Answer: Very Likely

Explanation:

Michigan has had 24 deaths from extreme cold in the last 20 years.

This is a rate of:

= 24 / 20

= 1.2 deaths per year.

For something to be considered ''very likely'' to occur, the chances of that thing occurring needs to be above 90%.

Going by the deaths per year, the probability is more than 90% at 120%. It is therefore very likely that there will be a death from extreme cold.

A rapid change in ocean density with change in depth is the:
pshichka [43]

Answer:

5. pycnocline.

Explanation:

Pycnocline is the rapid change in density of ocean water with depth. With increase in depth, ocean water tends to be denser. The two major factors that determine density in ocean water are temperature and salinity(salt contents). The denser water become in the ocean the more likely it sinks easily . This is one major factor that drive Ocean currents, the process is called thermohaline circulation.

The increase in salinity of ocean water causes an increase in density . This is because the salt become tightly pack and filled the water to make it denser . This simply means an increase in saline content of ocean water causes an increase in the density.

Another factor that affects density is temperature. Water at the surface possesses higher temperature due to direct contact with the sun. Usually, the higher the temperature the less dense ocean water becomes . This is why surface water is less dense. As water becomes warm the molecule disperse, this account for it lower density . Colder water are usually higher in density .

Generally, an increase in ocean depth causes considerable increase in density because of it colder temperature and increased salinity contents.

Four elements of civilization include:_____.
qaws [65]

Four elements of civilization include division of labor commerce and trade technology.

What is civilization?

 • Any complex society that has developed a political state, social stratification, urbanization, and symbolic communication methods beyond naturally occurring spoken language is considered to be a civilization (namely, a writing system).
 • Greece is frequently said to as the origin of Western culture and the birthplace of democracy. This is especially true of the Acropolis of Athens.
 • Additional traits including centralization, the domestication of plant and animal species (including humans), labor specialization, culturally imprinted beliefs of progress, monumental architecture, taxation, societal reliance on agriculture, and expansionism are also closely linked to civilizations.
 • In contrast to smaller, ostensibly less advanced cultures, "a civilization" has frequently been believed to be a bigger and "more advanced" culture.
