The inequality is 16 + 5t ≥ 61 and it takes 9 minutes or more minutes to fill the tank with at least 61 liters of waters.

Inequality:

Inequality is defined as a statement of an order relationship—greater than, greater than or equal to, less than, or less than or equal to—between two numbers or algebraic expressions.

Given,

Latoya's fish tank has 16 liters of water in it. she plans to add 5 liters per minute until the tank has at least 61 liters.

Here we need to find the possible numbers of minutes Latoya could add water and we have to find the inequality also.

Let t be the number of minutes.

So, now we can start with 16 liters and every minute (t) you plan to add 5, the final product will have at least (≥) 61 so the equation would be:

=> 16 + 5t ≥ 61

=> 5t ≥ 61 - 16

=> 5t ≥ 45

=> t ≥ 45/5

=> t ≥ 9

So, Latoya need 9 minutes or more to fill the tank with at least 61 liters.

Y -2 = -(1/3) (x+6)<br> What is this written in standard form using integers
MatroZZZ [7]

The standard form using integers is x + 3y = 0

<em><u>Solution:</u></em>

Given that we have to write the given equation in standard form

The standard form of an equation is Ax + By = C

In this kind of equation, x and y are variables and A, B, and C are integers

Let us convert the given equation to standard form

Given equation is:

\rightarrow y - 2 = -\frac{1}{3}(x + 6)

Multiply the terms inside bracket with constant outside the bracket in right hand side of equation

\rightarrow y - 2 =( \frac{-1}{3} \times x )+ (\frac{-1}{3} \times 6)\\\\\rightarrow y - 2 = \frac{-x}{3}-2

Simplify the right hand side of equation

\rightarrow y - 2 = \frac{-x-6}{3}

Move the 3 from R.H.S to L.H.S

\rightarrow 3(y-2) = -x-6\\\\\rightarrow 3y - 6 = -x - 6

Move the terms from R.H.S to L.H.S

\rightarrow x + 3y - 6 + 6 = 0\\\\\rightarrow x + 3y = 0

Thus the standard form is found
