The value of xy is 114 which is a real number.

real numbers are all numbers/points that exist at the variety line.real numbers may be divided into the following divisions:Rational numbers; any range which may be written within the form ofin which p and q are co-prime integer numbers , are called rational numbers. Irrational numbers ; all numbers which cannot be written as a simple fraction is referred to as irrational numbers.

Given two real numbers x and y . Let us consider x < y.

According to the question their sum is 25.

\therefore x+y=25.............(i)

The difference of the numbers is 13.

\therefore x-y=13 ...........(ii)

Now we have to solve the simultaneous equation:

adding equations (i) and (ii) we get:

x+y=25\\\underline{x-y=13}\\\\2x=38\\or,x=19

Substituting the value x=19 into equation (i) we get:

x+y=25\\or,19+y=25\\or,y=25-19\\or,y=6

Now let us find the product xy

xy=19\times 6\\or,xy=114

The product xy is 114 which is also a real number.

Rewrite 3/2 : 1/4 as a unite rate
finlep [7]

Answer:

6 : 1

Step-by-step explanation:

A unit rate has to be "a number to 1" or "x:1". Here we have a number to 1/4. Multiply both numbers by 4 so the 1/4 becomes 1.

3/2 * 4 = 12/2 = 6

1/4 * 4 = 1

3/2 : 1/4 is the same as 6 : 1

HELP I NEED THIS BEFORE 1:09 PLEASE HELPPP
gtnhenbr [62]

Answer:

C. 85 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

(set the equations equal to each other):

6x-25 = 4x+15

(solve for x):

2x = 40

x = 20

(plug in x back into the equation):

6(20)-25 = 120-25 = 95

(subtract your value from 180 degrees (180 degrees is a line)):

180-95 = 85 degrees
