I feel that Reconstruction and the postwar period would have been more historically beneficial and ambitious if President Lincoln hadn't been slain. Lincoln, in my opinion, would have done more to combat numerous injustices in America, both politically and socially.

This is further explained below.

What is President Lincoln?

Generally, In 1861, Abraham Lincoln was elected as the 16th President of the United States, and in 1863, he issued the Emancipation Proclamation, which freed for all time any slaves who were living inside the Confederacy.

In conclusion, I am of the opinion that Reconstruction and the post-war period would have been more historically beneficial and ambitious if President Lincoln hadn't been slain.

This is based on my research. I believe that Abraham Lincoln would have been able to do more politically and socially for the United States, as well as do more to fight against the numerous injustices that exist in our nation.

Janissaries were loyal soldiers trained to use small arms. They were regarded the most loyal of the sultan troops, and were also highly trained and disciplined. These disciplined forces were unlike the disorganized soldiers of Anatolia who also did not have gunpowder reserves.
