2. You left my parents a large box of chocolates. Thank you. We just finished them; they are delicious.

3. Thank you for the CDs as well. They arrived yesterday. I have not played all of them yet. At the moment, I'm listening to "Paradise Rock". It is very good.

4. My mother found your photo album the day you left. I sent it back two weeks ago. Did you receive it yet?

5.  Do you remember Steve? We met him at Sue's party. Well, he came to my house last week. He asked for your address, so I gave it to him. I hope that's OK. He is in California now on business.

6. I am looking out of the window at the moment. The sun will shine, and it will be a beautiful warm day. In fact, it has been sunny every day since you went back to San Francisco. Honestly,

Which statement is a theme of the load?
Pavel [41]

D.No one, no matter how strong, is invulnerable

Explanation:

The load is a story from Aesop's fable and clearly has moral behind all of the small tales that are presented in the book.

This story is about a merchant who makes a donkey carry a load through a particularly rough terrain over and over again and uses the same method when failing to do so.

They do not succeed until it appears to them that using the same method will always come  out with the same result.

No matter how much their method has worked for them, no matter how strong it is, it will be vulnerable to fail sometimes.
