Answer:

I remember hating having to wear a school uniform. When I found out that my son's next school doesn't have one, I was surprised. It got me thinking about whether it's important have one or not. I can see that it's important for kids to learn to dress smartly. However, I can also see why people say wearing the right color shirt doesn't matter.

9966 [12]

The statement that is incorrect is D.

In order to improve your vocabulary, you should not memorize lists of vocabulary words, but study their meaning and usage. Since a word can have many different meanings and connotations and be used in diverse types of sentences, it is crucial to understand its uses and implications rather than only knowing the word.

On the other hand, pronunciation is very important when adding new words to your vocabulary since a mispronunciation may cause confusion. At the same time, while dictionaries are very important in the expantion of one's vocabulary, there are many other tools that have to be used to do it more efficiently, such as thesaurus and corpus. Also, reading is an essential instrument in the acquiring of new words.

Personal attack fallacy or ad hominem fallacy is a type of fallacy that uses a direct attack on the individual's personal character. This attack is targeted at a particular individual and uses his/her personal characteristics as opposed to directing the attack at the argument.

This form of personal attack is when an argument is based on the personal details or directing the attack at the person instead of the argument.
