The Communist Party was actually very intrigued by the idea of labor unions & really tried to organize them more efficiently during the 1930s-1940s, and even as early as the 1920’s (post WW1, leading into WW2.) Thus, the answer can’t be C. I don’t believe it was ever a largely popular ideology in America, because communism has always been viewed as a threat to capitalism, so the answer isn’t B or D.
