The cerebral peduncle is the midbrain region that contains motor axons from the primary motor cortex to the spinal cord.

Explain the anatomical understanding of the cerebral peduncle.

The cerebral peduncles are the anterior midbrain structures that link the rest of the brainstem to the thalami.

 • They are joined by the interpeduncular cistern and house the vast white matter tracts that run to and from the cerebrum.
 • Semilunar-shaped bundle of white matter fibres in the midbrain, containing the corticospinal tract (3/5 intermediates) and the corticopontine (fronto-pontine and temporo-pontine fibers).
 • The substantia nigra is located posterior to the crus cerebri, followed by the mesencephalic tegmentum.

The midbrain is the smallest of the three brainstem sections, measuring around 2cm in length. The midbrain ascends through the aperture in the tentorium cerebelli.

It is broken into two major sections,

 • The tectum is placed behind the cerebral aqueduct.
 • Cerebral peduncles are paired and placed anteriorly and laterally.

Internally, the substania nigra divides the cerebral peduncles into the crus cerebri (anterior) and the tegmentum (posterior) (posterior).

in doing we're doing a well-learned task, our brain could complete it with less focus, so having the presence of others will give no trouble to our task.

Yuki888 [10]

Answer:

The correct answer is B. Grandmother's House; Falling.

Explanation:

In this case we are focusing on the stimulus of the example. These are what trigger the individual's response.

 • The unconditioned stimulus is falling since it can be understood as an accident.
 • Grandmother's house was a neutral stimulus but has become a conditioned stimulus because Scott has associated both which in turn create the fear response on his part.

Most life would not be possible without our unique atmosphere
True or false
kaheart [24]
Hi there!

The answer is True because our atmosphere protects us and all of the other life on Earth from the Sun's harmful UV (Ultra Violate) rays by filtering out most of it through the ozone layer. The ozone layer is a thin layer of gasses that is necessary for filtering UV rays. Our atmosphere also traps in heat so the Earth can stay at a comfortable and livable temperature for life.
