By assisting in the debate over what to do with the resources that the inhabitants of the civilizations had grown and collected, economics played a significant role during the Neolithic Revolution. It also contributed to the development of the first writing system, cuneiform. Language and administration would not be as sophisticated as they are now without the concern of economics.

Neolithic Revolution:

  • Small, nomadic bands of hunters and gatherers gave way to bigger agricultural settlements and early civilization during the Neolithic Revolution, also known as the Agricultural Revolution.
  • The Neolithic revolution, the most significant development in human history, gave rise to numerous cultural innovations, one of which is Stonehenge.
  • It took time, gradually forming on its own in various regions of the planet.
  • According to the conventional wisdom, the transition to agricultural food production helped to maintain a denser population, which in turn helped to maintain bigger sedentary communities, the accumulation of goods and equipment, and the specialization in various new forms of labor.
