The "Points of No return" were places that Africans would stay in Africa for the last time before being transported as enslaved people.

What was the point of no return in slavery?

When it came to slavery, the points of no return used to describe the forts that were constructed to hold enslaved people before they were transported to the Americas.

These forts were built along the coast of the ocean because it easier to connect the enslave to the oceans. These Points of No return were located all around the place such as in East Africa, and Southern Africa.
