Historical musicology changes in western art music over time.

What is Musicology?

  • The academic analysis and research-based study of music is known as musicology. Although some music research has a scientific bent, musicology departments traditionally belong to the humanities (psychological, sociological, acoustical, neurological, computational).
  • The social sciences are also academically interested in musicology because some anthropologists and geographers are interested in it.
  • A musicologist is a researcher who works on musical topics. Historical musicology, systematic musicology, and ethnomusicology are the three primary subfields of musicology.
  • Historical musicologists often concentrate on the history of the western classical music tradition, though the study of music history need not be limited to that.

Citrus2011 [14]

The inside of the barrel-shaped LDL protein consists of hydrophobic amino acids, while its outside portions in contact with the blood fluid consist of hydrophilic amino acids.

LDL is a type of lipoprotein, i.e., it contains protein as well as lipid (cholesterol). The full form of LDL is Low Density Lipid. LDL is considered to be the bad cholesterol for the body. It can cause diseases of the heart like heart attack or stroke.

Amino acids are the essential molecule that act as a monomer for the formation of proteins inside the body. They contain an amino group and  a carboxylic group attached to the same carbon atom. There are also a hydrogen atom and a variable R group attached to the carbon, also called the alpha carbon.

Why is it ineffective to treat viral disease with antibiotics? Why is it ineffective to treat viral disease with antibiotics? Pa
Eddi Din [679]

Answer:

Antibiotics inhibit enzymes specific to bacteria and have no effect on virally encoded enzymes

Explanation:

The specificity of the antibiotics to inhibits some  bacterial enzymes is one of the major reasons why antibiotic do not affect viruses. In addition  antibiotics are designed to  have a significant  destructive  effects on  the mechanisms of biochemical reactions in bacteria and its  physiology, e,g on the cells walls,( inhibiting the formation of peptydoglycans) on certain organelles e,g ribisomes (inhibiting protein synthesis) and on the DNA(disrupting replication). The virus physiology is different from bacteria, therefore the design of antibiotics will nor affect these same mechanisms in viruses, thus no specificity for the antibiotic to act on in virus
