I Would go with Producers, since plants take nitrogen from the soil to make amino acids, & plants are considered producers. Hope this helps :)

Answer: The correct answer is -

Producers.

Plants take up nitrogen from soil in the form of ammonium ions (which is a fixed form of nitrogen through nitrogen fixing bacteria present in the soil), nitrate or nitrite ions.

They take up the nitrogen by absorption through roots. It is then incorporated into amino acids, which are further used in protien synthesis.

As plants are producers (that is they can synthesise their own food using carbon dioxide and water in the presence of sunlight), therefore, second option is the right answer.

I would choose B. It would be bad if trading in animal products is banned and it proves not to be the issue. It is also bad to have people keep bringing them in if there's strong evidence for this action spreading the disease. Therefore, it is up to the scientists to provide cold hard proof of whether this action is spreading the disease or not.

You have the matching letters for each. Do you understand? If not I can help clarify. :3
