Answer:

No solution.

Step-by-step explanation:

4\left(2x+3\right)=5x+3x-6\\4\left(2x+3\right)=8x-6\\4\left(2x+3\right)\\(a=4,\:b=2x,\:c=3)\\=4\cdot \:2x+4\cdot \:3\\=8x+4\cdot \:3\\=8x+12\\8x+12=8x-6\\8x+12-12=8x-6-12\\0=-18

If the final answer is 0 and both sides of this equation are unbalanced, that means there will be no solution.

Anika [276]

Answer:

x=61.71428 or 61 5/7

Step-by-step explanation:

We can use a ratio to solve

7 pieces              12 pieces

-----------------   = ---------------

36 seconds          x seconds

Using cross products

7x = 36*12

7x = 432

Divide by 7

7x/7 = 432/7

61 5/7

x=61.71428

There are 3 girls and 4 boys in the Reese's family. Mr Reese's booth 6 1/2 pounds of candy. How much will each kid get
Sloan [31]

Answer:

Each Child get = 0.928 pounds of candy

Step-by-step explanation:

Total no of girls are 3

total no of boys are 4

Total no boys and girls are = 3 + 4

                                             = 7

Now it is given that Mr Reese booth have some pound of candies and he wants to distribute it equally among each children

total candy Mr Reese have is 6\frac{1}{2}

Now converting it to proper fraction

6\frac{1}{2} =\frac{6*2+1}{2}

                                 =  \frac{13}{2}

Now the amount of candy have =\frac{13}{2}

Now we have to divide it into 7 kids

so

each kid get = total candy / total children

                     =\frac{13}{2}÷7

Changing the divide sign to multiplication

                      =\frac{13}{2}*\frac{1}{7}

Which becomes

                      =\frac{13}{14}

solving it gives

Each Child get = 0.928 pounds of candy
