Mathematics

So all we have to do is multiply and add :) !

27 multiplied by 1, we'd multiply because it says "1 dollar for each guest" and we know there are 27.

So 27 multiplied by 1 is 27.

And now all we have to do is add. 27 plus 7 would be 34.

So Allen's party cost's $34

I hope this helps :)

Solve using substitution.
vazorg [7]

Answer:

(3,6)

Step-by-step explanation:

2x-3y = -12

x+y=9. Solve for either y or x

-x. -x

y = -x + 9. Substitute this for the y

2x-3(-x+9)= -12

2x +3x-27 = -12. Add like terms

5x -27 = -12

+27. +27. Inverse operations

5x = 15

÷5. ÷5

x = 3

x + y = 9

3 + y = 9. Substitute 3 for x

-3. -3. Inverse operations

y = 6

If a class have 32 students and 12 is girls, what is the percentage of girls
Vlad1618 [11]
Hey there!

Here are the steps involved in answering this question:

1. Write 12 out of 32 as a fraction which is \frac{12}{32}

2. Turn the fraction into a decimal. To do this, divide the numerator by the denominator. The numerator is the top part of the fraction while the denominator is the bottom part of the fraction.

 \frac{12}{32} = 0.375

3. You get 0.375. Now, turn this into a percent. Move the decimal, 2 places to the right or just multiply the decimal by 100.

0.375 = 37.5%

The final answer is 37.5%.

Plz answer all SHOW WORK
Andrews [41]
Okay, so if it leaks out a pint every hour, and a gallon is 8 pints, it will take 8 hours to leak out 1 gallon. Since there are 24 hours in a day, it would leak out 3 gallons every day. Now, assuming the month we are talking about is 31 days, then we multiply 31 with 3, giving us 93 gallons in a month.
