Based on the scenario above, it could be described that Ed made an internal attribution whereas Violet made an external attribution.

Internal attribution is where a certain event occurs in an individual because of personal factors that the individual acquires such as his or her feelings, traits and abilities.

External attribution is where events occur because of situations or external factors that would likely affect the person’s behavior such as the things around the individual or environment.

The framers of the Constitution were all well-todo, socially prominent Americans. Did they produce a document that was fundament
ANEK [815]

Answer and Explanation:

The Constitution itself establishes a representative democracy, or republic, not a pure democracy. In that sense, I guess you could say it's "undemocratic," although that word seems to have connotations about the electoral process that aren't exactly accurate.

The framers of the Constitution were very concerned about a majority rule changing fundamental laws. While they made the Constitution a flexible document that provided for the possibility of amending, it is an extremely laborious task to do so. The idea is that no temporary majority can significantly affect the rights and protections of the citizenry.

To a large extent, that changed with one critical writing. In 1905, Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. wrote the dissent in Lochner v. New York which established the concept of an "empty Constitution." That means that the prevailing legal theory to this day is that the Constitution does not in fact establish *anything* and in lieu of judicial precedent, the will of the people at any snapshot in time is effectively law. This is typically a leftist judicial outlook.

One of the biggest ironies of this decision is making it's way through the appellate courts right now: the California Prop 8 issue. Of course the leftists (rightfully) side with those who support gay marriage. However, if the case is to be decided in their favor, i.e. that a majority cannot vote away someone's right, it will be a repudiation of Holmesian doctrine. If the courts uphold the Holmesian standard, they will be forced to rule that the popular vote can, in fact, restrict rights of the people--in this case, the first amendment right of freedom of association.

Answer:

The invisible hand concept

Explanation:

The invisible hand concept is a metaphor which describes the actions of a person who performs certain tasks for his own benefit but his actions also lead to being a help for the public or a society.

In the scenario, mentioned in the question, Sergio wanted to earn a nice amount of profit for himself by setting up a consulting business. In his effort to do this, he benefited the society by helping them with their computer problems. Hence, this is an example of invisible hand concept.

Which statement best describes a difference between the political systems in ancient Greece and feudal Europe?
nikitadnepr [17]

Correct answer choice is :

D) Ancient Greece was more reflective of the philosophy of direct democracy

Explanation:

Feudalism in the Holy Roman Empire was a politico-economic policy of relationships among liege lords and enfeoffed vassals that made the base of the social structure within the Holy Roman Empire during the High Middle Ages. Greek cities set up democracies, most following the Athenian model, but none are as well documented as Athens. It was a policy of direct democracy, in which participating citizens voted quickly on law and executive bills.
