The first public equity issue offered by a company is commonly referred to as an initial public offering.

<h3>What is an initial public offering?</h3>

An initial public offering is when a private firm offers its first equity to the general public (IPO). A company's ownership is essentially changing from private ownership to public ownership through an IPO. Because of this, the Initial Public Offering procedure is occasionally referred to as "<em>going public.</em>" You can get in on the "ground floor" of a business with significant growth potential by investing in an IPO. Your opportunity for quick profit in a short amount of time may be an IPO. Long-term wealth growth could be facilitated by it as well.

Darina [25.2K]

Answer:

validity

Explanation:

The validity of personality scores stipulates that People's scores on an extraversion test do not neatly predict how sociable they will be on any given occasion.

In the event of one research study yielding positive evidence of validity, one is not guaranteed that the measure will work as well the next time, often it does not.

Hence, there is always need for cross-validation test to ascertain to validity or non-validity of the first test.

The non-validity test helps support the outcome of the validity test.

That one test determine that people will be very sociable doesn't always mean that people will end up being social.

How has water influenced the development of civilization in Africa
Digiron [165]
Not sure how correct this answer is because I do not know the teacher asking it.

Water is very scarce, or very rare, in Africa which means those living there would have to adapt to that lifestyle. This causes them to have to make changes in order to get the best use of their water. This has affected the development of civilization because they cannot develop into a continent like North America because they do not have sufficient water resources in order to supply those that would be living there.

enot [183]

Answer:

The initiative is a power reserved to the voters to propose legislation, by petition, that would enact, amend or repeal a City Charter or Code provision.

Explanation:

- The right of (legislative) initiative is the constitutionally defined power to propose a new law (bill). The right of initiative is usually attributed to parliaments, which in most countries have the right to make law proposals, alone or sharing this right with the government.

- An initiative is the first in a series of actions. Initiative can also mean a personal quality that shows a willingness to get things done and take responsibility. An initiative is the start of something, with the hope that it will continue. Government and business start initiatives all the time.

- The process is termed INITIATIVE because the electorate can initiate legislation. ... The referendum also permits the Legislature itself to refer proposed legislation to the electorate for approval or rejection. The initiative and referendum processes guarantee Washington's electorate the right to legislate.

Luisa finds and corrects an error in ___punctuation_______.

Explanation:

a) The paragraph omitted a comma punctuation mark after the word "campfire."  When Luisa puts this comma after "campfire," the sentence becomes grammatically correct.

So the error that Luisa finds and corrects in the passage is the omission of comma punctuation.  A comma punctuation mark gives a short break in a sentence.  Full stop gives a long break.
