The explicit rule for the nth term of the sequence is an = (an-1)*3 +2.

According to the given statement

we have to find the explicit rule for the nth term of the given sequence,.

So, For this purpose

The given sequence is :

2, 8, 26, 80, 242.

And according to the ap series formula

a_{n}  = (a_{n-1} -1)*3 +2

If we put the terms in it then we get the exact value as the value in the sequence.

So,

a_{n}  = (a_{n-1} -1)*3 +2

For a_{2}

a_{2} = a_{1} *3 +2

a_{2} = 2*3 + 2

a_{2} = 8

and by this way we get all the values as same as the sequence.

So, The explicit rule for the nth term of the sequence is an = (an-1)*3 +2.

Answer:

mathpapa.com

the place i got this from tbh i don't understand what you want for an answer but i tried, so here is a website that i got these from i hope it helps you.

Step-by-step explanation:

Evaluate for a= 1/3

3(1/3)+4(1/3) = 7/3

Evaluate for a= 1.5

(3)(1.5)+(4)(1.5)

=10.5

Evaluate for a=

Write the equation of a line that is parallel to y=4 and passes through the point (-2,7)
Phoenix [80]

Answer:

Y= 2X+8

Step-by-step explanation:

Compare the given line with y=mx+c will give the slope of the parallel line as 2. Equation of new line in point slope form is y-y1 = m(x-x1). So y-4 = 2 (x+2) will give you Y= 2X+8

How do you find the arc length given the angle and other arc length??? ANSWER ASAP‍♀️
Tju [1.3M]

You need to know the measurement of the central angle that created the arc (the angle of the two radii) to calculate arc length. The arc length is the fractional amount of the circumference of the circle. The circumference of any circle is found with 2πr 2 π r where r = radius r = r a d i u s .

What are the zeroes of y=x^2+14x+40
a_sh-v [17]
y=x^2+14x+40

y-x^2-14x-40=0

In general, given a{x}^{2}+bx+c=0, there exists two solutions where

x=  \dfrac{14+2 \sqrt{y+9} }{-2} , \dfrac{14-2 \sqrt{y+9} }{-2}

x=-7- \sqrt{y+9},-7+ \sqrt{y+9}
