Under the following conditions does mushroom cellobiase generate glucose most efficiently- Temperature- 50 to 55 degree Celsius and pH 4.8.

Cellobiase is an enzyme found in fungi that is used for the last process of breaking down of the cellulose into glucose to produce energy.

As every enzyme works optimally in a certain temperature and pH condition the ideal temperature for the working of cellobiase is 50 to 55 degree celsius and ideal pH is 4.8.

These enzyme is essential for the process of breakdown of cellulose hence organisms like fungi and bacteria possessing this enzyme is only able to digest the cellulose.

Is chemosynthetic bacteria a consumer, producer, or decomposer?
Illusion [34]
A chemosynthetic bacteria is a producer. Chemosynthetic bacteria produce energy by using chemical reactions similar to photosynthesis but without the light as a catalyst. A chemosynthetic bacteria can produce organic molecules (i.e. glucose) from inorganic molecules just like photosynthetic organisms.

You are doing research in bacteria on the effects of mutating the shine-dalgarno sequence. you change some nucleotides in the sh
padilas [110]
Shine-Dalgarno sequence is a sequence that precedes the starting codon in the mRNA. the small sub-unity of ribosome will recognize it with by a specific sequence in the initiation phase of translation.

The best way to restore the translation speed if the Shine Dalgarno sequence is mutated is to make a change in the small sub-unity of the ribosome, specifically in the RNA sequence that recognizes the mRNA Shine Dalgarno sequence, so it can be recognized again. and the translation process will be restored.
Another way to improve a translation speed if to provoke a mutation in the proteins' genes involved in the translation process (like enzymes and translation factors), there will be a chance to increase their effectiveness, especially for enzymes, so the translation speed will be improved.

On the average, how much energy is lost from each trophic level? explain why
levacccp [35]

Answer:

The amount of energy at each trophic level decreases as it moves through an ecosystem. As little as 10 percent of the energy at any trophic level is transferred to the next level; the rest is lost largely through metabolic processes as heat.

Make a concept map/organizer to relate the actions of the nervous, skeletal, and muscular systems to a stimulus. For example, wh
Gekata [30.6K]
Let's take the example of touching something hot:
there's sensory nerves in all our body, including our hands and fingers. When a finger touches something hot. a nerve impulse will be born due to the stimulus and will be transmitted from the sensory nerves in the finger to the CNS (central nervous system)
The CNS will integrate the information, then transmit nerve impulses through the motor nerves which goes to the muscles of the finger (which are skeletal muscles) to order them to contract, to avoid the contact between the finger and the hot thing. (the same map for the blinking eye)
