A sample of a chilling and scary story is given below:

The teenagers entered the so-called haunted house. "So-called" because the twins, Ada and Jimmy did not believe in such stup1d stories which were told.

The opened the door, and a bat flew away and a chilly wind swept into the room, they slightly shuddered but went in any way.

Like a typical horror flick, the lights began to flicker on and off and the door behind them was tightly shut by an invisible hand. This was not enough to make them scared.

It was when a skeletal hand touched then from behind that they screamed...
