Given M = 120, σ = 5.6

P (117.4 <x<120)

P (" 117.4-120 5.6 < X-M 120-120 5.6

P(-0.46 < 220)

= 0.5= P(-0.46 <2)

= 0.5 0.3212

0.1788

The standard deviation is 0.1788

Standards contain technical specifications or other precise criteria intended to be used consistently as rules, guidelines, or definitions. They make life easier and help increase the reliability and effectiveness of many of the products and services we use. . Most state regulations require drivers to have liability insurance and stipulate the exact amount of coverage required.

Standard definitions are established as a basis for rules, examples, or comparisons. An example of a standard is a policy governing what 7th graders must learn. An example of a standard is music that has been played many times over the years.

Alright, lets gets tarted.

Suppose there are x rows of tomato plants Krystyn make.

Again suppose there are n plants in each row.

We could find total plants by multiplying number of plants in each row with number of rows.

Hence total number of plants will be = x * n

But as per question, total number of plants are 54. It means

x * n = 54

Now, the number of plants in each row was 3 more than the number of rows means

n = x + 3

Putting this value of n in first equation we made

x * (x+3) = 54

x^{2} + 3x = 54

Subtracting 54 in both sides

x^{2} + 3x - 54 = 54 - 54

x^{2} + 3 x - 54 = 0

Factoring

(x-6)(x+9) = 0

Means x = 6 or x = -9

The number of rows can not be negaive.

Hence x = 6

It means number of rows of tomato plants will be 6. : Answer

Hope it will help :).

The graph shows the relationship between pounds of grapes, g, and their cost, c.
UkoKoshka [18]

Step 1

Let

x------> the cost in dollar

y-----> the pounds of grapes

A(0,0)\ B(2,1)

we know that

A relationship between two variables, x, and y, represent a direct variation if it can be expressed in the form y/x=k or y=kx

The line in the graph represent a direct variation

Find the constant of proportionality k

y/x=k------> substitute point B -----> 1/2=k

The slope is equal to the constant of proportionality

so

m=0.50\ \frac{pounds}{\$}

the linear equation is g=0.50c

therefore

<u>the answer Part a) is</u>

For every dollar you spend, you can get 0.50 pounds

Step 2

Find the cost for one pound of grapes

Let

g=1\ pound

substitute the value of g in the linear equation and solve for c

g=0.50c

1=0.50c

c=1/0.50=2\$

therefore

<u>the answer Part b) is</u>

For each pound of grapes, you would need  2\$

What is the modulus of the complex number 5 + 2i ?
kicyunya [14]

Answer:

modulus of complex number is \sqrt{29}

Step-by-step explanation:

z=x+iy is a complex numbers

the given complex number is 5+2i

the value of x is 5  and y is 2

the modulus of complex number formula is

|z|=\sqrt{x^2+y^2} =\sqrt{5^2+2^2} =\sqrt{25+4} =\sqrt{29}

modulus of complex number is \sqrt{29}
