The was a decline in Space exploration because it is very  expensive, however it is a relatively minor line item in the U.S. budget.

It should be noted that the NASA's spending  is about  4.5 percent of the federal budget in 1966, and this reduced to about  1 percent in  1975, and  this declination keep going over the years.

However there is a current renewal of space exploration because NASA  is about to get to a  mission of the Juno spacecraft at Jupiter by September 2022.

The rush into space can be described as the term that explain the exploration of the space by the experts  one of this exploration is how US space agency  launch  the first space shuttle ever.

It should be noted that Space exploration serves as the use of astronomy as well as space technology so that the explore outer space can be explored.

The exploration of space is been performed by astronomers and they do telescopes, through the physical exploration which is been conducted both by uncrewed robotic space probes.
