When the Reagan administration took over the United States' leadership in 1981, he implemented the policies about free-market principles which helped restore the confidence of the US economy. After the year 1982, because of his policies,  a strong and long economic boom in the US happened. This change the US economy from in a terrible shape to a great prosperity period.
