A subduction zone is the biggest crash scene on Earth. These boundaries mark the collision between two of the planets tectonic plates. The plates are pieces of crust that slowly move across the planets surface over millions of years. ( The mantle is the hottest layer under the crust). Hoped that helped!!!!

The Subduction zone is a geological process that takes place at convergent boundaries of tectonic plates where one plate moves under another and is forced or sinks due to gravity into the mantle.
Regions where this process happens are known as subduction zones.

Hope this helps!

Write a fictional story about a party where things go horribly, horribly awry. Word limit 150-200
zimovet [89]

Answer:

It was on a sunny evening, my parents were out of town for the weekend and I thought it was a good idea to invite some friends over and have a party.

The party started soon after with music blaring, enough liquor (even though we were not up to eighteen), and plenty of necking.

The night was going on really well as my crush Tabitha seemed very interested in me that evening. We were walking hand in hand and she laughed at all my lame jokes, perhaps she was tipsy.

My dad had a gun in his bedroom upstairs which he always kept locked. I did not put too much thought to it, but quite a number of teenagers were in my parents' room, doing what teenagers do best.

Suddenly I heard a loud bang, we all went upstairs quickly and saw Raphael lying in a pool of blood. It appeared that he was playing with the gun, perhaps not knowing it was loaded and mistakenly squeezed the trigger.

A once-happy party turned sour in the twinkling of an eye. All I wanted was for the poor lad to be safe. I called 911 and he was taken to ICU.

Using the RACE method answer one of the following questions:
larisa86 [58]

Answer:

A narrow Fellow in the Grass is the most brilliant poem I have ever read because it talks about an exploration of fear by using a snake as the  catalyst for that fear. "A narrow Fellow in the Grass Occasionally rides -" This shows an emotion that exists in balance with comfort, as is suggested by the characterization the fearful snake as a “fellow.
