While I feel I state the obvious; This stems from the institutionalized racism within our justice systems as well as our police and government officials. Educating ourselves is the biggest step, then educating others on this as well. From there, voting and calling our legislators is a good way to help. Advocating through social platforms if you have a large, or a small, is also a good way to help. We also need to demolish private prisons in America. That will do a lot for this particular cause.
