Hi!

Solve for d.

12y+d=-19y+t

<em>Subtract by 12y from both sides.</em>

12y+d-12y=-19y+t-12y

Answer---> d=-31y+t

Solve for y.

<em>Add 19y from both sides.</em>

d+12y+19y=t-19y+19y

d+31y=t

<em>Add d from both sides</em>

d+31y+-d=t+-d

31y=-d+t

<em>Divide by 31 from both sides.</em>

\frac{31y}{31}=\frac{-d+t}{31}

Answer ----> y=\frac{-1}{31} d+\frac{1}{31}t

Hope this helps!

Answer:

68cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

<h2>A trapezium is a type of quadrilateral with the two opposite sides parallel.</h2>

Area of a trapezium= 1/2(sum of parallel sides)×height

Area of the trapezium= 1/2(5+3)×17

Area of the trapezium= 1/2(8)×17

Area of the trapezium=4×17= 68cm^2

Which algebraic expression is equivalent to
poizon [28]
Hey there :)

( 2x⁵ - 3x⁴ + x² + 5x + 7 ) - ( - 4x⁵ - x⁴ - 3x² - 5x + 2 )

Let us combine like-terms
2x⁵ - ( - 4x⁵ ) - 3x⁴ - ( - x⁴ ) + x² - ( - 3x² ) + 5x - ( - 5x ) + 7 - 2

Minus and minus becomes plus
2x⁵ + 4x⁵ - 3x⁴ + x⁴ + x² + 3x² + 5x + 5x + 7 -2

6x⁵ - 2x⁴ + 4x² + 10x + 5

Your answer will be option A) 6x⁵ - 2x⁴ + 4x² + 10x + 5

18. In the figure, o is the center of the circle passing through P, Q, R and S. If angle SOQ = 150°, find the values of x and y.
AveGali [126]

Answer:

x = 75°

y = 105°

Step-by-step explanation:

Angle subtended on the circumference of the circle is half of the angle subtended on the center of the circle.

\therefore m\angle SRQ = \frac{1}{2} \times m\angle SOQ\\\\\therefore x = \frac{1}{2} \times 150\degree \\\\\red{\bold{\therefore x =75\degree}} \\

Quadrilateral PQRS is a cyclic quadrilateral.

\therefore m\angle R + m\angle P= 180\degree \\\\\therefore x + y = 180\degree \\\\\therefore 75\degree + y = 180\degree \\\\\therefore y = 180\degree - 75\degree \\\\\purple {\bold {\therefore y = 105\degree}} \\

What is the length of segment AC?
Margaret [11]
You would have to use the Pythagorean theorem to solve this.

Step 1:
-Create a triangle using point (-5,-1)
Step 2:
-Find the base and height of the triangle created.
Base=distance from (-5,0) and point A, (3,-1).  (Base is 8 units)
Height=distance from (-5,0) to (-5,5).  (Height is 6 units)
Step 3:
Use the Pythagorean Theorem to find the hypotenuse length which is the line segment AC.
8^2+6^2=(AC)^2
64+36=(AC)^2
100=(AC)^2
10=AC
AC is ten units long
