When researchers gather evidence and examine it logically, they are using the "empirical method".

What is empirical research?

Empirical research can be described as any study in which the study's conclusions are strictly derived from conclusively empirical evidence, and thus "verifiable" evidence.

This empirical evidence can be obtained through qualitative and quantitative market research methods.

Either quantitative or qualitative methods can be used to conduct and analyze empirical research, which are-

 1. Quantitative research methods: Quantitative research methods are used to collect information using numerical data. It is used to quantify opinions, behaviors, or other variables that have been defined.
 2. Qualitative research methods are employed to gather information that is not numerical in nature. It is employed to elicit meanings, opinions, or underlying causes from its subjects. These techniques are either unstructured or semi-structured.

Thus, many of them may decide to conduct a group study using quantitative and qualitative methods to better answer questions that cannot be researched in a laboratory setting.

On a day when there is no wind, you are moving toward a stationary ambulance sounding its siren. Compared to what you would hear
quester [9]

Answer:

Doppler Effect

Explanation:

Doppler Effect is a term in Physics that describes the phenomenon experienced when there is change in wave frequency during the relative motion between a wave source and its observer.

In other words, it is referred to as increase or decrease in the level of sound, or other waves as the distance between source and observer is closer or farther from each other, such that it causes change in pitch, which is noticeable by the observer.

For example, when a sound object moves towards an individual or observer, the frequency of the sound waves increases, leading to a higher pitch, and at the same time, when the sound object moves away from an individual or observer, the frequency of the sound waves decreases, leading to a lower pitch. E.g passing siren from ambulance.

Hence, in this case, the right answer is DOPPLER EFFECT
