Different letter arrangements that can be obtained from the letters of the word statistically, using all the letters= 6,48,64,800

Given,

Total number of arrangements obtained = 6,48,64,800

Given words = STATISTICALLY

Total word count = 13

Here we have repeated alphabets as -

"S"s = 2

"T"s = 3

"A"s = 2

"I"s = 2

"L" = 2

Total permutations we have here = 13! / 2!2!2!2!3!

= 6,22,70,20,800 / 96

= 6,48,64,800

What is Permutation?

A permutation of a set in mathematics is, broadly speaking, the rearranging of its components if the set already has an ordered structure into a sequence or linear order. The act or procedure of altering the linear order of an ordered set is referred to as a "permutation."

Subtracting Fractions.

Fill in the blanks, and the tenth one is 4 2/3 + 7 7/10=
GrogVix [38]
Hello! Although I can't give you the answers automatically. I'll just show you some steps on how to subtract & if you're still not figuring it out just message me! :)

Step 1: You have to make sure both denominators are both exactly the same or you won't get the answer correctly.

Step 2: Then subtract the numerators

Step 3: Simplify if needed.

Ex; If I have 1/2 of the pizza and my friend has 1/6 of the pizza. What will be my result if I subtract the fractions?

We'll have to take 1/2 and 1/6. You'll have to find what makes those numbers, what I mean is by multiplying both numerators and denominators.

\frac{1}{2}  -  \frac{1}{6}  =
You multiply by 3.
2 x 3 = 6

Then you'll change the denominator into 1/2 = 1/6

Result:
\frac{3}{6}  -    \frac{1}{6}  =
Then you just subtract.
3 - 1 = 2

Hint: Denominator never changes when you have your final result. So it's 2/6. It needs to be simplified.

\frac{2}{6}  \div  \frac{1}{3}
We divide by 2.

I hope this example helped you understand how to subtract fractions & if you don't know how to add mixed fractions you can always do around the world or other examples your teacher can provide! :)

Which equation represents the line that passes through (5,8) and (9,2)
Dahasolnce [82]
ASSUMING This is a straight line so we gotta the formula for a straight line which is y=mx+b, where m represents the slope and b represents the y intercept.

First, we know this line passes through (5,8) and (9,2) we can use these for finding the equations. When we know two points, we use this formula:

y-y=m(x-x)

The first y is 8 and the second one is 2
The first x is 5 and the second one is 9

Plug it in:

8-2=m(5-9)
6=m(-4)
6/-4=m <— simplify this
m= -3/2

*NOTE: another way to find m is by calculating it (y-y)/(x-x)

Now we know m, we have to find b.
All you gotta do is plug everything you know back into the equation y=mx+b

y=mx+b
y=-3/2x+b <— now plug in a point we know(x,y)

8=-3/2(5)+b
8=-15/2+b
8-(-15/2)=b
b=8+15/2
b=16/2+15/2
b=31/2 (now you can write be as a fraction or a decimal in your equation, depending on what your teacher told you to use)
*NOTE: it is best to use fractions instead of decimals as it is more accurate sometimes.

Now we know all the variables that need to be known, we just need to rewrite the formula of the equation so the teacher can see.

m=-3/2
b=31/2

We don’t need to plug in x or y since it could have different values (since a straight line has MANY co-ordinates)

SO OUR EQUATION IS=
y=(-3/2)x+31/2

Hope you understand this, feel free to ask me anything!
