rth Tower is shown in the graph of N (x). The height, S, in feet of the xth floorabove the ground floor for the South Tower is shown on graph S (x). Dayton says that the floors of the North Tower are taller than the floors of the South Tower. He also says that the ground floor of the South Tower is taller than the ground floor of the North Tower. There are 2 steaight lines , representing height an base of two buildings

Floor N > Floor S

Ground S > Ground N

Height = Ground x Floor

Then there must be some point that

Height N = Height S

this point is aprox at 2 floors

then Dayton was right

Find the values for a and b that would make the equality true.
Crank

Answer:

a = - 4, b = 5

Step-by-step explanation:

Expand the left side and compare the coefficients of like terms on the right side.

- 3(2x² + ax + b)

= - 6x² - 3ax - 3b

Comparing like terms with - 6x² + 12x - 15

x - term → - 3a = 12 ( divide both sides by - 3 )

                    a = - 4

constant term → - 3b = - 15 ( divide both sides by - 3 )

                               b = 5

(1 point) All that is left in a packet of candy are 7 reds, 3 greens, and 3 blues.
Sauron [17]

Answer:

A 21 /169

B independent

Step-by-step explanation:

The total number of candies is 7+3+3 = 13

P( 1st red) = red/total = 7/13

Since the candy is put back there are still 13 candies in the dish

P(2nd green) = green/total = 3/13

P( red, then green) = P( 1st red) * P(2nd green)

                                = 7/13* 3/13 = 21/169

The events are independent since the candies are put back

Rasek [7]
Just divide 100% by 80% and multiply that answer by 5. I'm pretty sure that's how you do it.
