At the end of the play, the prince says, “Some shall be pardoned and some shall be punished” for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet.

In your opinion, which 3 individuals should be pardoned or punished for their involvement (or lack of involvement) in Romeo and Juliet’s tragic love story? (Remember you need 5 paragraphs. You need textual evidence for each body paragraph. You also need commentary that explains each piece of evidence you provide. Consult your “How to Write an Expository Essay” notes in Schoology for assistance. Format your essay correctly. Print this document and submit it on Schoology before you return.)

One of the people i think is responsible for the Deaths of Romeo and Juliet is Friar Lawrence. I think he is responsible for their deaths is because when Juliet came to him for a plan he though up a half full plan that wasn't fool proof. Another Reason I think he is responsible is that if his messenger got there in time Romeo would have known about the plan. But instead his messenger got caught up in a plague and disease. So he couldn't make it in time to tell Romeo of the plan. My last reason why I think Friar Lawrence is responsible because if he was there at the tomb in time he could have stopped Romeo from killing himself. And he shouldn't have left the tomb so Juliet could have the chance to kill herself.

Which line of poetry is written in iambic pentameter?
Phoenix [80]

When you say "Which ... ", are you saying "Here's a list of choices.
Please select your answer from the list." ?

If so, then there's something definitely missing here.

And since my answer is not restricted to the list of choices you provided,
I get to pick any line of poetry I want to.

to BE or NOT to BE that IS the QUES tion.

This is iambic pentameter.

(The "-tion" kind of hangs off at the end, but hey ! It's Shakespeare.
Wotta ya gonna do. You can't tell him anything.)

This is more like the compass for finding your way out of a geometry book. A mathematical compass (like this one) is used to draw perfect circles. For Donne, it was the perfect metaphor for the long-distance relationship he imagined with his wife. Line 26: The compass is introduced emphasizing two crucial features.
