Inequality means when the two values that are not equal is defined by inequalities. Inequality means unequal.
When two values are not equal we will greater than or less than sign .
" < " means less than
" >" means greater than
"≤ " means less than and equal to
"≥ " means greater than and equal to
(a) Inequality -4 < n ≤ 5
here , -4 is not included so, the Number line starts from -3
5 is included so, number line will end on 5
(b) The number line shows ,
line is starting from -3 but the dot is not filled means it is not included
The line ends at 2 so,
Inequality is -3 < n ≤ 2
