There are two steps in the project budgeting process and the first step is to allocate the estimated project cost to the various work packages in the project work breakdown structure. The second step of the project budgeting process is to distribute the budget for each work package over the duration of the work package.

What is Project Budgeting Process?

It is very hard to accurately estimate the costs for all activities at the beginning of a certain project. At the beginning of the project, we can estimate the costs for near-term activities and we can estimate costs more clearer as the project progresses. To do project budgeting, we have to allocate the estimated project cost to the work packages in the project work breakdown structure first. Then, we can distribute the budget for each work over the duration of each work package.

Kaylis [27]

Answer:

Total dollar Annual Cost = $300,000

Explanation:

 • Total loan Commitment = 9000000
 • Borrowed Fund (Used Portion) = 6000000
 • Unused Portion (9000000 - 6000000) = 3000000
 • Annual Commitment Fee for unused Portion = 0.50%
 • Commitment Fee = 3000000 x 0.05% = 15000
 • Borrowed Fund (Used Portion) = 6000000
 • Interest Rate (3.25% + 1.5%) = 4.75%
 • Interest Cost (6000000 x 4.75%) = 285000

Total dollar Annual Cost (15000 + 285000) = $300,000

stiks02 [169]

Answer: B. Equity theory

Explanation:

Equity Theory is based on the idea that individuals are motivated by fairness. In simple terms, equity theory states that if an individual identifies an inequity between themselves and a peer, they will adjust the work they do to make the situation fair in their eyes.

Equity Theory calls for a fair balance to be struck between an employee's inputs (hard work, skill level, acceptance, enthusiasm, and so on) and an employee's outputs (salary, benefits, intangibles such as recognition, and so on).

The theory is built-on the belief that employees become de-motivated, both in relation to their job and their employer, if they feel as though their inputs are greater than the outputs and if they are not treated fairly compared to their peers.
