The fourth coordinate of rectangular piece of material is (2.8 , -2.7)

According to the question,

Charles drew a plan for a rectangular piece of material that he will use for a blanket. Three of the vertices are (-1.4, -2.7), (-1.4,3.7), and (2.8,3.7).

As we know , the opposite sides of rectangle are equal

If we locate these coordinates in our graph and join them

Length of rectangle will be = 2.8+1.4 = 4.2cm

Breadth of rectangle will be = 3.7 + 2.7 = 6.4cm

So, the fourth coordinate should lie 6.4cm far from (2.8,3.7)

Subtracting 6.4 from y-axis,

Fourth coordinate = 3.7 - 6.4

= -2.7

Therefore , The fourth side of rectangle = (2.8 , -2.7)

For each pair of similar figures, find the ratio of the area of the first figure to the area of the second.
Hitman42 [59]

answer:

\frac{4}{9}

explanation:

the area of the larger square is 36 (6*6), and the area of the smaller square is 16 (4*4). to find the ratio of the area, simply just put 16 over 36 and simplify.

\frac{16}{36} = \frac{4}{9}

What is the probability that a student eye color would be blue if their grade in physics is A? A two way table is presented belo
Zarrin [17]
The correct answer is:

16/45.

Explanation:

We want the probability that a student's eye color is blue if they made an A in physics. This means we look at the column for students with an A.

There are 32 students with blue eyes in the A column.

This is out of 32+58=90 students that made an A.

This makes the probability 32/90, which simplifies to 16/45.
