  • Therefore, ∠1 and ∠4 are not supplementary angles.
  • m∠4 =m∠1
  • m∠4 = 85°
  • Consecutive interior angles are supplementary. That is they sum up to 180 degrees.
  • m∠1 = 43°
  • m∠5 = 180 - 43
  • m∠5 = 137°

Therefore, ∠1 and ∠5 are supplementary angles.
