Alexander Mosaic from the House of Faun - naturalistic as well as realistic depiction of the human form but some little issues in the mosaic areas tells that it is obtained from another source.
Ludovisi Battle Sarcophagus - it is too populated, twisting and highly contentious.
Sutton Hoo ship burial - eye-catching funerary place full of enticing riches.
St. Francis altarpiece by Bonaventura Berlinghieri - shows the pain and <em>sacrifice </em>one has to make as a saint or follower of Christ.
<h3>Why is the House of Faun's Alexander Mosaic significant?</h3>
Alexander mosaic depicts a conflict in which Alexander attacks Darius, the ruler of Persia. In the conflict, there are more than 50 men. At the Battle of Issus and the Battle of Gaugamela two years later, Alexander triumphed over him.
