The number of students who chose not to study Spanish in their senior year is 124.

In mathematics, a percentage is a number or ratio that can be expressed as a fraction of 100. If we have to calculate percent of a number, divide the number by the whole and multiply by 100. Hence, the percentage means, a part per hundred. The word per cent means per 100. It is represented by the symbol “%”.

Given that

56% Students studied Spanish, which means 44% did not study Spanish.

In mathematics, a ratio shows how many times one number contains another.

Hence if the ratio is:

56 : 44 = 14:11

Then, the number of students who did not study Spanish is:

(14/11)×98 = 124.

Therefore the correct answer is 124.

3. A researcher studied the eyesight of people at different ages. She calculated a vision score for each person in the study and
WITCHER [35]

Answer:

A)Predicted value = 103.5

B)Actual value = 102

C)So, these are not same

Step-by-step explanation:

The researcher used the liney = -0.1 x +110 to model the data.

A)When the researcher substituted the value of x = 65 into this equation, what is the resulting y value?

Substitute value x=65 in equation :

y = -0.1 x +110

y=-0.1(65)+110

y=103.5

Predicted value = 103.5

B)Based on the coordinates of the given data points, what is the actual actual vision score when x=65?

Use the given graph

When x = 65

y = 102

So, The actual actual vision score when x=65 is 102

C)When the researcher substituted x = 65 into the line of equation, is the resulting y value the predicted value or the exit value for the vision score of a 65-year-old? Use your results for parts a and b to answer this question.

Predicted value = 103.5

Actual value = 102

So, these are not same
