Prehistoric art shows us the art and the culture of the people that have existed a long time before us. It shows us the way that the people lived and the elements of the culture in the time period.

The aspect of life that are preserved through art would be the cultures of certain places today. The cultures of certain areas although it has passed through a lot of periods and modern times still remain untouched in certain areas. An example would be in some Asian cultures and in African cultures.

Therefore we would say that the findings have to do with the fact that man has being created elements of art for a long time coming and these are shown in what is found today.
