A cold wind blowing in my face makes me shiver. In this example, shivering is a(n) UCR(Unconditional responses).

Unconditional responses are the innate reaction to unwavering stimuli. The dog's automatic salivation in response to food is one illustration of this. CS: Conditioned Stimulus This stimulus, when combined with an unconditioned stimulus, causes a certain reaction.

Unconditional responses are natural and don't need any prior knowledge. Only after a link between the UCS and the CS has been established will the conditioned response take place. A learned reaction is a conditioned response.

A natural reaction to the unconditioned stimulus that is unlearned in classical conditioning is referred to as an unconditioned response. For instance, if the unconditioned stimulus is the smell of food, then the unconditioned response is the sensation of hunger.
