3 0

Answer:

4,320ways

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the following from the questions

Number of paintings = 9

Renaissance paintings= 6

Baroque paintings = 3

Since they are hanging from left to right and we will first hang Renaissance painting before baroque painting, hence;

For Renaissance painting, this can be done in 6! ways

6! = 6*5*4*3*2*1

6! = 720ways

Similarly for Baroque painting, this can be done in 3! ways

3! = 3*2*1

3! = 6ways

The total number of ways to hang the painting = 6!*3!

The total number of ways to hang the painting = 720 * 6

The total number of ways to hang the painting = 4,320ways

Hence there are 4,320ways to hang the paintings

What is?Two consecutive odd integers have a sum of -44. What are two odd integers?
9966 [12]
Let one odd integer = x

other odd integer = x +2

Sum = x + x+2 = -44

=> 2x + 2 = -44

=> 2x = -44 -2 = -46

=> x = -46/2 = -23

x+2 = -23 + 2 = -21

Integers are -23 and -21

How do I answer A and B?
shusha [124]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

a) We're working with the ratio 3:1

x:500

500/1 = 500

500 * 3 = 1,500

x = 1,500

She would need to use 1,500 mL of yellow ink.

b) We're working with the ratio 2:3

x:750

750/3 = 250

250 * 2 = 500

x = 500

She would need to use 500 mL of red ink.

You can check both of these by:

(a) 1,500/500 = 3/1 = 3 : 1 which is the ratio we're working with.

(b) 500/2 = 250

750/2 = 375

250 : 375

Then, divide both 250 and 375 by 125

250/125 = 2

375/125 = 3

We are then left with the ratio 2 : 3 which is the ratio we're working with.
