On the coordinate (0,7) the value of P is maximum 280.

What is a Linear Inequality?

In mathematics, inequality denotes a mathematical expression in which neither side is equal. In Math, an inequality occurs when a connection produces a non-equal comparison between two expressions or two integers.

Solution:

First of all to solve the Linear Inequality we need to plot the graph of the given equations.

Kindly find the attached graph

To maximise the equation P = 30x + 40y

we need to find the corner values of x and y.

According to the graph, the corner values of (x,y) are

(5,0), (3,4) and (0,7)

putting the values in the equation P = 30x + 40y

at x = 5 and y = 0

P = 150

at x = 3 and y = 4

P = 250

at x = 0 and y = 7

P = 280

So, on the cordinate (0,7) the value of P is maximum i.e. 280.

Which function below has the smallest slope?. A Graph with a line going through -5 on the Y Axis and Postive 2 and a half on the

<span>The three equations can be written as 1) y = 2x - 5 ; 2) y = 2x - 3 and ;3) y = 2x + 5. Now, the slope can be found by slop intercept form of linear equation i.e. y = mx+b where m is the slope. From the above equations, we can see that all the the three have the same slope i.e. m = 2.</span>

Solve logx = 6.4 by changing it to exponential form.
Zanzabum

\bf \textit{exponential form of a logarithm} \\\\ \log_a(b)=y \qquad \implies \qquad a^y= b \\\\[-0.35em] ~\dotfill\\\\ \log(x) = 6.4\implies \log_{10}(x)=6.4\implies 10^{6.4}=x\implies 2511886.43\approx x

let's recall that when the base is omitted, "10" is implied.

Find the output, f , when the output, t , is 7. f=-2t-3
Gemiola [76]

Answer:

-17

Step-by-step explanation:

You replace the t with 7 making the equation , f=-2(7)-3. Using PEMDAS, you solve -2 x 7 making it -14. Finally, subtract -3 from -14 making it -17.
