The color doll that African American children most prefer is White dolls

What are African American children?

Generally, African Americans are people who were born in the United States yet have African ancestry.

A significant number of their ancestors were taken captive in Africa and sent to the Americas, where they were forced to labor as slaves. The population of African Americans in the United States makes up one of the biggest ethnic groupings there is.

Children were given a black doll and a white doll and asked to choose which one of the dolls they liked in a "doll test" that was popularized by social psychologists Kenneth Bancroft Clark and his wife, Mamie Phipps Clark.

This test was popularized by the Clarks. The vast majority of black youngsters favored the white doll, and they ascribed the most positive qualities to the white doll as well.
