In the Progressive era, year 1870-1920, Womens suffrage became a huge priority for the women during this time; and especially for the right to vote.

Progressive era the women's organizations also need to worked on the behalf of many social and the reform issues. By the beginning of the new century, the women's clubs in the towns and the cities across the nation were they are working to promote the suffrage, better schools, the regulation of the child labor, women in the unions, and the liquor prohibition. During the progressive era, so many women leaders, the National American Women's Suffrage Association and The National Women's Party changed the tone of America's future by doing acts such as holding annual conventions and participating in suffrage parades to tackle problems such as public health and safety, child labor
