The English met with King Philip, chief of the Wampanoag, and demanded that his forces surrender their arms. The Wampanoag did so, but in 1675 a Christian Native American who had been acting as an informer to the English was murdered, and three Wampanoag were tried and executed for the crime. The destruction of a Narragansett village by the English brought the Narragansett into the conflict on the side of King Philip, and within a few months several other tribes and all the New England colonies were involved.

The Albany Plan of Union envisioned the British North American Colonies going through a more centralized and unified government for the thirteen colonies.

After the Albany Congress passed it, the plan was sent back to the British and each American colony; each one of the American colonies rejected it, the colonies were afraid of losing autonomy. The British regarded the plan as too complicated, giving more power to the colonies rather that Great Britain, later on The British thought it was unnecessary and rejected it;  thereby it failed. The Best answer then would be (D).
